Advanced Multichannel- Multielectrode Resisitivity & IP Meter
46 simultaneous channels in acquisition…, 48 electrodes configuration… (number of electrode is expandable to 300)
It is the new answer for the latest demands of high resolution and analysis of 3D resistivity and induced polarization measurements
This resistivity and IP meter is having the new concept to measure resistivity, potential
spontaneous, load, induced polarization (IP) or SEV (Survey Electric Vertical). The instrument integrates all the elements to carry out vertical geo-electric and multi-electrode prospecting with 48 electrodes.
It is possible to increase the number of electrodes managed by the machine through external expansion box, 24 or 48 electrodes each, allowing you to get a handle 300 electrodes or higher. The main feature of this system is the high speed of execution of surveys, both 2D and 3D rendering possible adoption of a new and innovative platform of acquisition data that makes possible the simultaneous data acquisition on almost all of the channels that equip the instrumentation. This instrument is equipped with the function “preview” that allows the user to display a preview of the pseudosection derived from train newly acquired data directly in the field. The use of this allows the operator to quickly check the recorded data. The instrument performs the measurement or the measuring cycle set user in the automatic mode. Once the measurement cycle, the data can be immediately viewed by using the function “preview”, the use of which allows the operator to verify immediate data recorded and processed with the corresponding software data processing. The power of 250 Watt internal generator can be increased up to 950 watts with the use of a generator optional external.
The registration and data are saved on Disk on Module internal memory or USB disk on key.
The unit is fully computerized and all operational functions are selected by simply touching the corresponding menu on the screen.
Advantages of data acquisition :
Drastic reduction of the time required to bring to an end survey. For example a set of 2709 measures with configuration pole-dipole runs in about 5 minutes, compared to 150 minutes necessary to supplement it with a single instrumentation channel measure;
Ability to deal with investigations before unfeasible, because the large number of measures required;
Possibility to include multiple measures to minimize the uncertainty,at the same time taken;
Lower energy consumption.
An increase in the number of the electrodes, and thus of possible measures is automatically matched by the growth of number of channels, ensuring uniformity of performance.
The quality of the measurements is also guaranteed by resolution of up to 24 bits
resolution, the highest in its class. Another important aspect of the process of data acquisition is the resistivity meter check their consistency and stability. With the equipment, this becomes particularly easy to:
Availability of an auto-repeat feature of the measures with error rate greater than a configurable threshold.
